THE QUEENS GRILL (Temporarily Closed)

Once the most famous restaurant at sea, the Queens Grill is now a British bistro occupying the former first-class dining quarters of the QE2.

The newly refurbished interiors of the Queens Grill feature brown and white chequered marble flooring with dark wood paneled walls, offset by circular tables and comfortable sofas and chairs. The theme runs throughout the venue and into the Private Dining Room and the bar area. The décor has subtly transformed the Queens Grill’s antique interiors into a stylish venue that boasts the ambiance and vibrancy of Dubai’s cosmopolitan culinary scene.

Located on the Boat Deck, Passengers will now enter the restaurant via exclusive elevators and a dedicated arrival lounge and have the option of dining inside or outside on the terrace.

The brand new menu showcases the best of British delicacies with an infusion of modern gastronomy. Signature starters include Smoked Haddock and Scottish haggis pâté and Wagyu Crudo, whilst the main course selection features Salmon Wellington, Cod & Chips, Gourmet Duck Burger and Beef Short Rib. The dessert options include Classic Treacle Tart and Rhubarb and Custard Crème Brulee.

THE QUEENS GRILL LOUNGE (Temporarily Closed)

Elegant, modern and adorned with a new era of QE2 elegance, the former officers' quarter has been restored to present a sophisticated lounge and bar adjacent to the Queens Grill restaurant.

Take a seat on plush multi fabric sofas that line the white paneled walls or on the emerald velvet chairs perched at the marble bar. Admire the stunning mural that frames the bar - perfectly reflecting the earthy interior features of the venue.

Enjoy an expertly concocted sundowner whilst peering out to the busy ship harbour beyond, or sip on a connoisseurs selection of evening beverages pre or post dinner in the Queens Grill Restaurant. On selected nights, savour the sounds of live acoustics played from the lounge's central stage.

THE PAVILION (Temporarily Closed)

Located on the lower aft deck of the QE2, The Pavilion is an al fresco dining experience that infuses its nautical surroundings with the vibrancy of the Mediterranean. Commanding breathtaking views of the Mina Rashid Yacht Club and Dubai's glistening skyline beyond, it offers a seasonal menu of fresh Aegean delicacies from lunch through to dinner.

Choose from a hearty selection of salads, stone-baked pizzas and al dente pastas as well as succulent main courses from both land and sea – not forgetting the Pavilion sharing signatures including the Greek Charcuterie Board.

A refreshing drinks menu offers expertly concocted cocktails and mocktails as well as an extensive sommeliers collection of grapes.

LIDO (Temporarily Closed)

Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch, Lido presents an international buffet on the Quarter Deck. The restaurant has been restored to offer a chic yet original setting with large floor to ceiling windows and fresh marble flooring - complemented by soft green décor and earthy features. The breakfast buffet offers a hearty selection of continental delicacies including fruit, cheeses and yogurts, freshly baked pastries, live egg stations, hot breakfast items and Arabic delicacies whilst lunch is a combination of international buffet or à la carte favorites.

On Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays the Lido dinner buffet features a wide selection of international dishes from the buffet. On Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday the Lido transforms into a Culinary World Cruise Series with Indian, Asian, Arabic and Mediterranean themed nights.

Make the most of the weekend with an exciting culinary and entertainment adventure at the QE2 Friday Brunch. Adults will be entertained with a live band whilst children can enjoy a dedicated supervised play area in the adjacent ballroom. With a selection of nearly 200 freshly prepared dishes on the extensive buffet, the QE2 Brunch is the feast of all feasts!

YACHT CLUB (Temporarily Closed)

The QE2’s original Yacht Club has been tenderly restored to its former décor – complete with its original bar. The terrace, which is open during the cooler months, commands views of Dubai’s impressive skyline.

THE GOLDEN LION (Temporarily Closed)

Not only does The Golden Lion look like a traditional pub, it’s arguably Dubai’s oldest! If it’s an authentic British pub experience you are looking for, this is it. Sip on a wide selection of draught beers, enjoy live sports, play at the pool tables or try your hand at a game of darts.

Step back in time to the QE2’s storied past and browse the collection of commemorative shields from the QE2’s ports of call adorning the walls.

THE CHART ROOM (Temporarily Closed)

Keeping its former name, The Chart Room is one of the QE2’s favourite spots to meet, relax and catch-up over a bottle of wine or a selection of craft beers. A snack menu offers a selection of salads, mezze, burgers and the classic British fish and chips.

Located mid-ship on the Quarter Deck, The Chart Room is a time-capsule – maintaining the same nautical interiors of its former years. The bar has the original glass route-map still in place whilst the chart draw contains the old world-maps used by former captains of the QE2.

Q CAFÉ (Temporarily Closed)

Adjacent to the QE2 lobby is the Q Café – a popular spot to observe the bustling activity of the hotel terminal. It’s brightly lit by natural sunlight and offers chic yet comfortable sofas and dining tables – perfect for grabbing a bite to eat, catching up on some emails, meeting with friends or getting lost in a good book from its extensive library. The menu features a selection of world teas, coffee, hearty salads, fresh sandwiches, pizzas, quiche and home-made cakes and pastries.
